Mansoura Ez Eldin
Mansoura Ez Eldin is an Egyptian storywriter and novelist. Her novels and short stories have been translated into foreign languages, and she has been selected among the best 39 Arab writers under 40 at the Beirut39 Festival. Some of her prominent titles include: “Shaken Light”, “Maryam's Maze” and “Shadow Specters”, ""Beyond Paradise"" which has reached the shortlist of the 2010 International Prize for Arabic Fiction. Moreover, her short story collection “Towards Madness” was named one of the best Egyptian short stories of 2013 at the 2014 Cairo International Book Fair Awards. Her novel “Emerald Mountain” won the Best Arabic Novel Award at the Sharjah International Book Fair in 2014. Her recent short story collection “A Haven for Absence” reached the shortlist of AlMultaqa Prize for the Arabic Short Story in 2018.
